Session 1

Picked Dave and Becki up and headed down to the event, taking Turbulence, Secret Weapon and DB5(although it didn't have a fight). As I was leaving halfway throught the first session to visit Lisa I put SW in the first melee. It did reasonably well, still needs some work but the drum worked although caused minimal damage. Also suffered with ground clearence problems, should be sorted out with a new thinner base plate. Turbulence also had a fight which was against Kronic and Pussycat, two very good robots. We have beaten Kronic before but they got their first massive flip on us while we were attacking Pussycat. We went straight OOTA, nevermind. However it cause some internal damage, smashing the Rx xtal and snapping two wires off the Vantec. I then dashed off leaving Dave and Becki to fix the damage before the next session.

Session 2

Got back 10 minutes into the next session just in time to fight SW which was already in the arena. Again major ground clearence issues and the chain snapped on the drum. Many thanks to John (Scorpian) for giving me some of the stronger chain that they use on Evil. Turbulence had two more fights, one against Merlin and Tanto which we won after flipping Merlin OOTA. We almost got Tanto out aswell, but were running low on gas. The final fight was the melee, there was little gas left so we had none, but Edgehog, Knightmare, Taurus and Iron Awe did. However Turbulence did us proud again almost getting Edgehog out, but eventually we ran out of gas and Knightmare turned us over and we just couldn't get back over.

On the way home we stopped at McDonalds and saw the Edgehog crew and team Psycho Fling. Got home about 9.30. Only the Xtal issues on Turb to sort out for the next event which is Colchester.
