RC Wars December 2003
My first and Jon's second RC Wars, the robots attending were: Venom, Ploughbot, Turbine,
Rampage, Tantrum, L, G-Force(Jon's Feather) and CBF. Also there were Ian Lewis and Razer.
We arrived and set up on the bench and got straight to work on getting the robot working, it took
about 2 hours to get it ready for the arena and when it went in there was interfearence that
launched one side forward and the chain jammed and came off bending the wheel mounts in the
process. But I know what needs to be done to prevent this happening again, and it seemed fast
and powerful so I do have hope that it may turn out good in the end. There were some good battles
and Razer did a demo, but towards the end I was so tired I didn't care anymore. But a good day,
thanks to the crew especially to James Cooper for inviting me.
