Debenham Robot Rumble - 2002.
This is probably the biggest annual robot event in the UK outside of Mentorn events. The event lasted three days but we only stayed for two, for me it was only my second event and it was great to see robots such as Razer and Pussycat that I hadn't seen before. We took along Gstring which after a lot of rushed building had it's 50psi Pneumatic axe fitted altough not much armour. The axe didn't work as well as it had in testing the system had probably developed a leek during transit. But we had some good fights with Gladiator, Micromute and several other feathers. Gladiator won most of the fights due to reliability problems with most other feathers. Interfearence was also a problem for many teams, but it was still enjoyable.
