Billing Aquadrome World Championship Replacement Event
With Jon at Uni and Dave on holiday, I was left to attend on my own. Got there about quarter
past 10. The crew had been there all week and there had been some good fights. During the day
CBF had 3 fights, in which it suffered minimal damage except for a broken chain. These fights
took the form of 3 melays with 13 feathers in all at once, the most Ive seen in the arena at
the same time. In the first fight the batteries died halfway through, I have been having problems
charging them recently and I thought I had a major problem. But after this fight they did
charge properly. The second fight was going well until I was wedged up against the wall by a
combination of Bernie and G3. In the last fight I was up for totally trashing CBF as I getting
a new feather soon, but DragonStrike's disk never got up to full speed and eventually the power
was too much and the electrics were melted. CBF ended the fight with a chain snapping and wonky
wheel.
Also during today, Terrorhurtz destroyed a washing machine and did its best to destroy
Splinter. It was a very impressive display. A pretty good day good to see some people that I
haven't seen for a while, left quite early as I needed to get home. Thanks to the RR crew and Ed
in making the event possible.
